The Enterprising Moms is about the whole mom. At our gatherings, we address topics related to motherhood, business ownership and everything that fuses the two. Our Second Tuesday Gatherings are pretty inspiring. Women form connections, find solutions, gain motiviation and inspiration, and much more.

If you plan to join us, here are some details:

Though it's not required, it is helpful to know who's coming. If you plan to join us, please send an email.

WHAT WE DO
• Quick intros. Share a bit about yourself, your biz, your ideal clients, your family situation and what you'd like to gain from the group.

• Bring an issue or challenge that you’d like input on. Past issues: choosing a business name; finding childcare, accountants, etc; working with kids at home; managing time; prioritizing; etc.

• Share your successes. It doesn't need to be a success by anyone's standards but your own.  It's whatever you feel great about.

• Share contacts, resources, tips that have worked for you (workshop you attended, a networking event, a source for sitters, etc.)

LOGISTICS
• Babies around one or so and younger and those that don't mind sitting for a long stretch of time are okay to bring. (You know yourself and your baby .. If you can be engaged and the baby can entertain him/herself, sleep, or contribute constructively to the conversation :-), bring him or her along if you need. I really am working on childcare arrangements for future meetings. Lots of logistics to work through. More soon.)

• Bring business cards, brochures, etc. if you have them.

• Look for a table sign for The Enterprising Moms (or women who look like they are looking for others - in case I forget the sign!)

• I’ve always been able to find street parking within a block or two.  If you don’t like circling, there is a parking garage around the corner (Take a right on off of King Street where the restaurant is. It’s almost underneath.)
