Join us for an afternoon of connection, collaboration and fun as we celebrate moms who are “growing families while growing businesses.” Bring your babies (older kids and spouses/partners welcome too!) and your business cards and brochures for an innovative networking event where we combine family fun with business savvy.

When:   
Wednesday, August 13th • 2-4pm (Rain date:  Tuesday, August 19th)

Where:  
Belle Haven Park in Alexandria, VA (look for a gathering towards the water off of the first parking lot)

Why:     
Connect with like-minded women who understand and appreciate the challenges growing businesses and families, and celebrate the triumphs as well!

Fee: None!

As an organization, The Enterprising Moms gives back to the community through volunteerism, charitable giving and environmental efforts and activities. As such, we’ll be collecting donations at our Summer Social for New Hope Housing, a non-profit organization that provides homeless families and individuals shelter and tools to build a better life.

Please bring one or more of the following, to be donated to families in need:

• Onesies (3 – 12 months)
• Diapers, especially larger sizes
• Pull-ups in sizes 3-4 and up
• Baby proofing items
• Gift cards for Walmart
  

Also,  please bring a gently used copy or two of your favorite magazines, books or other publications to swap with other moms. Not only will we be reducing and reusing, but you may introduce a mom to a useful new resource she might not have otherwise discovered.

Other details ... Feel free to bring a picnic for you and yours, along with games or toys well suited for big grassy open space. We’ll supply bubbles, novice face painting, tattoos ...
